Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering LSFF’s 2026 marketing campaign. They will shape and implement strategy across print, digital and press to maximise the festival’s visibility, expand its reach into new and underserved audiences, promote new venue partnerships and drive ticket sales.
This role includes direct oversight of the Social Media Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator and marketing volunteers.

Fee: £5,896 (44 days @ £134 p/d) (£34,840 pro rata)
Term: Fixed-term November 2025 - February 2026
- Hours of employment:
November - December 2025: 3 days/week
January 2026: 3 days/week + F/T during festival
February 2026: 1 day/week
Place of work: Remote, with in person attendance required during the festival (23 January - 1 February 2026)
Reports to: Festival Director
Key responsibilities
Develop and deliver marketing campaign for LSFF26, with a focus on new priority audiences and expanded venue partnerships
Lead on audience development campaigns to reach younger, first-time and underserved audiences, particularly in Zones 3-6
Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to finalise branding and maintain consistent visuals across all channels
Lead on media and press strategy, including press pitching and relationship management
Secure coverage across print, digital, radio and community media
Develop and oversee LSFF’s social media strategy, setting objectives, tone of voice and content priorities while guiding the Social Media Coordinator on execution
Write and proofread marketing copy, press releases and newsletters
Manage newsletter delivery and scheduling
Oversee production of festival trailer, print materials and website updates
Design and monitor audience surveys
Track performance across ticketing, newsletters and press for reporting and contribute towards the final evaluation report
Oversee and support the work of the Social Media Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator and marketing interns
Experience & skills
Proven experience of developing and delivering successful marketing campaigns within the arts, cultural or film sectors
Confident managing media relationships and press pitching
Strategic understanding of social media platforms including TikTok, with experience leading social media planning and guiding teams in content development and engagement strategies
Excellent written English with strong copywriting and proofreading skills
Experience creating or editing visual assets using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent
Strong organisational and project management skills
Commitment to accessibility and inclusion across all marketing activities
