A chance to see a selection of British animation from this year’s London Short Film Festival, showcasing new talent in all its variety and diversity. There’s new work from Animate Projects, award winning animators Gabriel Böhmer and Yasmine Djedje-Fisher-Azoume, and exciting new student animation from the Royal College of Art and the National Film and Television School.
We travel from a field in Derbyshire to the Ivory Coast and its folk traditions, from a short celebration of Oscar winning animator Bob Godfrey to a rave on an emu farm with new age lesbians!
Surreal landscapes abound as we go down abstract and discombobulated rabbit holes while also fighting the rat race closer to home on London buses and tubes.
The attending filmmakers will join us for a Q&A after the screening.
