PRINCESSA DE WOKING, dir. Big Red Button
The 18th London Short Film Festival returns with our choice selection of 2021's most hysterical quick-fire comedies.
2020 didn't give us much to titter about, but this selection of filmmakers might just've managed to wring humour from the most surprising, and quintessentially British, of subjects - from a telenovela set in Woking, to the homoerotic rivalries at the local badminton club, to the simple pleasure of power washing patios.
Look out for Stath Lets Flats' Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Spaced’s beloved Julia Deacon having an unfortunate misunderstanding with her local radio station.

All of this year's Funny Shit comedies qualify for The Taash Award for Comedy in Film. In celebration of the life of promising filmmaker Nataasha Van Kampen, this award remembers her boundless talent and humour, as founded and sponsored by her stepfather, Mark Rylance.
The winner of the Taash Award For Comedy In Film will receive an award of £1000 towards their next project.
